Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into legally binding contracts. By registering, you represent that all information provided is accurate and current.

Account Responsibilities

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You must immediately notify us at jacob@knot.dev of any unauthorized access
• You are liable for all activities occurring under your account
• Sharing accounts is prohibited without explicit written permission

Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that:

• Violate these Terms
• Engage in fraudulent or illegal activities
• Abuse the Platform or its resources
• Remain inactive for extended periods

Available Plans

• Free Tier: 25 credits, 50MB storage
• Pro Plan: $50/month, 125 credits, 2GB storage, video AI generation, premium AI models
• Additional Credits: Available for purchase as needed

Payment Terms

• All payments are processed securely through Stripe
• Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly basis
• Prices are in USD unless otherwise specified
• We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days notice

Credits and Usage

• Credits are consumed when generating stores, images, or videos
• Unused credits do not roll over to the next billing period
• Credits are non-refundable and non-transferable
• Credit consumption rates may vary by feature

Permitted Use

You may use the Platform to:

• Create legitimate e-commerce stores
• Generate original content for your business
• Customize and modify your store designs
• Integrate with supported platforms (Shopify, WordPress)

Prohibited Activities

You must not:

• Generate content that infringes on intellectual property rights
• Create stores for illegal products or services
• Use the Platform for fraudulent or deceptive purposes
• Attempt to reverse engineer or compromise our AI systems
• Resell or redistribute Platform access without authorization
• Generate harmful, offensive, or discriminatory content
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Overload or attempt to disrupt our services

Your Content

• You retain ownership of all original content you provide to the Platform
• You own the React code generated for your stores
• You maintain rights to your product information and descriptions
• Generated stores and content are yours to use commercially

Our Platform

• KnotDev Inc. owns all rights to the Platform, including its AI models and technology
• Our trademarks, logos, and brand elements remain our property
• The underlying Platform code and algorithms are proprietary
• You may not copy, modify, or distribute our Platform technology

License Grants

By using the Platform, you grant us a limited license to:

• Process your content through our AI systems
• Display your content within the Platform for generation purposes
• Store generated content according to your subscription tier
• Use anonymized data to improve our services

Generation Process

• AI outputs are generated based on your inputs and instructions
• We do not guarantee specific results or outcomes
• Generated content should be reviewed before publication
• You are responsible for ensuring generated content meets your needs

Content Accuracy

• AI-generated stores and content may require customization
• We do not warrant the accuracy or completeness of AI outputs
• You should verify all generated information, especially product details
• Technical functionality should be tested before deployment

Commercial Use

You may use AI-generated content for commercial purposes, including:

• Operating e-commerce stores
• Marketing and promotional materials
• Product presentations and demonstrations
• Business operations

Platform Connections

• Shopify and WordPress integrations are provided "as-is"
• We are not responsible for third-party platform changes or outages
• Integration functionality depends on third-party API availability
• You must comply with third-party platform terms

External Services

• Payment processing through Stripe is subject to their terms
• Third-party AI services used for generation have their own policies
• Marketplace imports (Amazon, AliExpress) must comply with their terms
• We do not control or endorse third-party services

Data Handling

Your use of the Platform is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Store Data

• Generated stores remain accessible during your subscription
• Cancelled accounts retain data for 60 days
• You can export your code and content at any time
• We maintain backups for disaster recovery

Service Availability

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free service
• Specific results from AI generation
• Compatibility with all browsers or devices
• Protection against all security threats

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• We are not responsible for lost profits or business opportunities
• These limitations apply regardless of the legal theory

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Delaware law, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Arbitration

Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Delaware, except for claims that qualify for small claims court. You waive the right to participate in class actions.

Informal Resolution

Before initiating formal proceedings, you agree to attempt resolution by contacting us at jacob@knot.dev.

Terms Updates

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via:

• Email to your registered address
• Platform dashboard notifications
• Website announcements

Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of modified Terms.

Platform Changes

We reserve the right to:

• Add, modify, or remove features
• Change credit consumption rates
• Update AI models and generation capabilities
• Adjust storage limits and quotas

All official communications should be sent to:

We will contact you through:

• Your registered email address
• Platform notifications
• Dashboard messages

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the complete agreement between you and KnotDev Inc.

Severability

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in effect.

Waiver

Failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of future enforcement.

Assignment

You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our written consent.

Force Majeure

We are not liable for failures due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

By You

You may terminate your account at any time through account settings or by contacting support. Termination does not entitle you to refunds for unused subscription periods.

By Us

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately for Terms violations or at our discretion with 30 days notice.

Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

• Your access to the Platform ceases immediately
• Generated content remains available for 60 days for export
• You remain liable for any outstanding payments
• Provisions that should survive termination will remain in effect

Beta Features

Features marked as "beta" or "experimental" are provided without warranties and may change or be discontinued without notice.

API Access

If we provide API access, additional terms may apply. API usage is subject to rate limits and quotas.

Referral Programs

Any referral or affiliate programs are subject to additional terms and may be modified or terminated at our discretion.
